Often this will be a quick & easy fix, however, if it is not, we are more than happy to help have this sorted.

Please have a look over the list below for some general points, more comprehensive troubleshooting is provided below.

  • Reset the unit, by turning it off for 2 hours.
  • The seal is may not be fitted tightly, which can allow warm air to enter the fridge and create condensation. Please complete a torch test prior to contacting our service team (further info can be found at the bottom of this page).
  • Do you hear the fan/compressor working (it may also be worth checking power and if the house's circuit breaker/fuse has been tripped)
  • Is the fridge well ventilated? The area/cavity where the fridge is positioned needs to be well ventilated , to prevent overheating the motor/compressor.  Sometimes if the unit overheats, this can cause the thermal safety switch to trip. It's also useful to feel around the sides & top of the fridge for signs of overheating. Generally speaking a 10cm gap around each edge and along the top would be recommended, as well as a minimum 10cm gap against the rear wall.
  • Is the internal compartments over crowded? If the inside is overcrowded resulting in poor internal ventilation you could expect to have warm spots in some areas, while other areas closer to the back of the fridge may be quite cold or even frosting.
  • Is the compressor/motor working constantly or more than usual, or do you hear it starting/stopping as you would normally expect? (please share any videos highlighting any abnormal sounds to our team)
