If your heat pump is not cooling as expected, please ensure the following have all been checked before making a warranty claim to avoid the chance of having a callout charged if there were to be a user error.

The air filter is dirtyRemove the filter and carefully clean off dust and debris according to the cleaning guide in the user manual
There is high levels of heat being generated by sunlight
Ensure that curtains/blinds are closed if it is a particularly hot/sunny day
The temperature may be set higher than the current ambient room temperatureLower the temperature setting of the unit
Doors and windows are open
Ensure that all doors and windows are closed whilst the unit is in operation
Low refrigerant as a result of a slow leak (installation error) or long-term useHave your heat pump serviced by a licensed professional and have the unit and piping checked for leaks and if needed top up refrigerant
The heat exchanger on the indoor or outdoor unit is faultyThoroughly clean the exchanger in question
Multiple heat sources in the room (groups of people, computers/electronics, appliances)
Reduce the amount of heat sources
The air inlet/outlet of the indoor or outdoor unit is blockedPower the unit off, remove the debris and power back on
Silence/quiet mode is activatedSilence/quiet mode can lower heat pump performance by reducing the operating frequency, turn off this function if needed.


If error codes appear on the indoor unit

The unit may stop operation or continue to run safely. If the indicator lamps continue to flash or error codes appear, wait for 10 minutes. The problem may resolve itself. If not, disconnect the power, then connect it again and power the unit back on.

If the problem persists, disconnect the power and contact our customer service team/submit a warranty claim.
